about me
My name is Karina Abro and I currently attend Lehman College in the Bronx. I am a freshman and I plan to major in Political Science. Previously, I have interned in Councilman Eric Gioia's office in Sunnyside, Queens. I am half Pakistani and half Brazilian,unfortunately I do not speak Urdu but I am fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. I am currently studying French. With my degree, I hope to pursue a career in public administration.

I currently work for two separate catering companies and am a full-time college student.

what's your Hispanic connection?
Some people consider Brazil a Hispanic country, but my true connection has been my environment, many of my friends and fellow students are of Hispanic descent. I am fluent in Spanish and very much interested in everything to do with Hispanic culture.
